Private waxing in Fenham
Waxing is personal, so every appointment takes place in a private room, with the door closed and locked during your treatment. Our hijab friendly salon means you can relax completely.
Before and after your wax
Before your wax
- Let your hair grow to a medium length. Very short hair can be too short for the wax to grip, which can leave some hairs behind.
- Do not wax sunburned skin.
- If you use retinol or prescription retinoid creams, stop them 2 to 5 days before a face wax.
- If you have taken isotretinoin (Roaccutane) in the last six months, please tell us, as waxing is not suitable.
- Please come with clean, freshly washed skin on the area being waxed. Good hygiene keeps your treatment safe and comfortable, and it is especially important for intimate waxing such as a Hollywood or Brazilian.
Aftercare
- No hot showers or baths after your wax.
- If the skin feels sore, a cold pack helps.
- Wear loose clothing over the waxed area.
- After 3 days, gently exfoliate the area to help prevent spots and ingrown hairs, then moisturise with an oil free, non comedogenic product.
- If redness or swelling lasts more than two days, see your GP or pharmacist.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a Brazilian and a Hollywood?
A Brazilian (£25) removes all hair from the intimate area, but not between the buttocks. A Hollywood (£28) removes all of it, front to back, including between the buttocks.
Can I have a wax when I'm pregnant?
Yes. We offer a Pregnancy Hollywood at £30.
