At Glamaholic we pierce with the STUDEX System 75, a hand-pressured, sterile system that uses pre-loaded, single-use cartridges. The stud never touches our hands, which keeps every piercing clean and gentle. Your piercing takes about 20 minutes, including choosing your stud and marking the spot together, so you know exactly where it will sit before we begin.

Children's ear piercing in Newcastle
We pierce children's ears in a calm, private room, with a parent or guardian present throughout. The STUDEX system is quick and quiet, which helps nervous little ones stay relaxed. Anyone under 16 needs a parent or guardian to give consent and stay with them for the whole appointment.
Piercing aftercare
- Clean the piercing twice a day with a saline solution
- Wash your hands before touching it, and avoid twisting the stud
- Keep the stud in for at least 6 weeks for ear lobes, and longer for cartilage and nose piercings
- Avoid swimming pools and hot tubs for the first 2 weeks

What to expect at your piercing appointment
- Book your appointment online or on WhatsApp. Under 16s need a parent or guardian to come along and give consent.
- Choose your studs. We have 9ct white and gold studs available.
- We mark the position together. We check the placement with you in the mirror, so nothing happens until you are happy.
- Your piercing. For ears and nose we use the Studex System 75, which is quick and quiet.
- Aftercare. We talk you through how to look after your new piercing before you leave.
