Permanent Hair Removal in Newcastle
Laser and Electrolysis Hair Removal in Fenham, Newcastle
Here at Glamaholic, we understand that unwanted body hair can stop you from feeling your best.
Laser hair removal is ideal for larger areas and works best on darker hair. Our triple wavelength laser is suitable for all skin tones, including darker skin.
Electrolysis is permanent. Each hair is treated individually at the root, so once the follicle is destroyed that hair cannot grow back. It works on every hair colour, including white, grey and fair hair that laser cannot treat, and is the ideal choice for unwanted facial hair caused by hirsutism, PCOS or hormonal imbalance. If your hormones cause new hairs to appear over time, we can treat these as they come through.
Whichever area you would like to treat, we will recommend the right option for you at your free consultation.

You can also combine them: laser for larger areas and electrolysis for the last few fine or light hairs that laser cannot reach. Book a free patch test or consultation and we will recommend the right option for your hair and skin.
Before any hair removal appointment, please come with clean, freshly washed skin on the area being treated. Good hygiene keeps your treatment safe and comfortable, and it is especially important for intimate areas such as a Hollywood.
Frequently asked questions
Is any hair removal truly permanent?
Electrolysis is the method recognised for permanent hair removal. Laser gives long term hair reduction over a course of sessions, but the NHS notes complete removal cannot be guaranteed (NHS: laser hair removal).
Can I shave between sessions?
For laser, yes: shave 24 hours before and avoid waxing, plucking and threading between sessions. Electrolysis works best on hairs in their active growth phase, called the anagen phase. Please come while the hairs are still short, soon after they start growing back, so we can treat them at the right stage. We guide you on timing at your free consultation.
Why does keeping my electrolysis appointments matter?
Commitment to your appointments makes a big difference to your results. Each hair is best treated as soon as it grows back, while it is still short and in its growth phase. Coming back regularly at the times we agree means we catch every hair at the right stage, so you see results faster.
