Halal brows lightening before and after at Glamaholic Salon, Fenham, Newcastle

1. The client

Jahanara came to Glamaholic Salon in Fenham for Halal Brows. She wanted softer, neater looking brows using a treatment that fits with her faith, with no waxing, tweezing or threading.

2. The halal brows treatment

Halal Brows is a brow lightening treatment, not a tint. It gently softens the colour of strong or dark brows so they look lighter and more natural against the skin. Every product used is halal, and no hairs are removed.

  • Patch test: free, at least 48 hours before the first appointment
  • Time: 25 minutes
  • Price: £16
  • Optional add on: Classic Brow Tint £10 or HD Brows Tint £18

3. The result

Jahanara left with soft, beautifully finished brows and shared her experience on Google:

“Very satisfied with the result. Looks beautifully done. Definitely Recommend.”
Jahanara B., Google review

Results last up to one month, and clients usually book a top up after that.

4. Aftercare

Avoid hot showers for the first 24 hours. Wudu is fine straight after the treatment.

5. Is Halal Brows right for you?

Halal Brows suits you if you want lighter, softer brows without waxing, tweezing or threading, and a treatment that works with wudu. You can remove your hijab in privacy during your appointment. Find out more about my Hijab Friendly Services.

6. Why clients choose brow lightening

Many of our clients have naturally strong, dark brows that can look heavy, especially against a lighter skin tone or when framed by a hijab. Removing hairs is not an option for everyone, so lightening offers a softer look while keeping every hair in place. The brows still keep their natural shape and fullness, they simply look lighter, cleaner and more balanced with the rest of the face.

It is also a quick appointment. The whole treatment takes 25 minutes, so it fits easily into a lunch break or alongside another treatment at the salon.

7. Brow lightening vs brow tinting

Brow tinting adds colour to make brows look darker and fuller. Brow lightening does the opposite: it softens the colour of strong or very dark brows. Some clients like to combine the two, and you can add a Classic Brow Tint (£10) or an HD Brows Tint (£18) to your appointment if you want extra definition. We will talk through the look you want at the start of your appointment and recommend what suits you best.
