Polynucleotides in Fenham, Newcastle
Brighten dark under eyes, firm up crepey skin and refresh tired looking skin, naturally.
Polynucleotide treatments at Glamaholic Salon in Fenham are a natural way to improve dark circles, crepey skin and fine lines. My approach is simple: take a few years away while you still look like you.
What are polynucleotides?
Polynucleotides are injectable treatments made from purified DNA fragments. They are designed to support the skin’s own repair process, improving hydration, elasticity and overall skin quality over a course of treatments. They do not add volume or change your features, so results look natural.
Polynucleotides for dark circles and crepey skin
The skin under the eyes is the thinnest on the face, so it is often the first place to show dark circles, hollowness and a crepey, crinkled texture. Because polynucleotides work on the quality of the skin itself rather than adding filler, they suit this delicate area well. Over a course, the under eye skin can look thicker, smoother and brighter. Crepey skin on the face and neck can be treated in the same way.
Who are they for?
- Dark circles and hollow under eyes, where thin skin shows shadows and colour
- Crepey skin under the eyes, on the face and on the neck
- Fine lines and dull, tired looking skin
- Anyone who wants a natural refresh rather than filler

Genuine products only
All my polynucleotides come from Fox Pharma, a trusted UK supplier. I only use genuine products, never cheaper alternatives.
How many sessions?
Most clients have a course of 3 treatments, 4 weeks apart. A full course can last up to one year or more depending on the individual, with one maintenance session a year.
What happens at your appointment
- Free consultation. We talk through your concerns, medical history and the right product for you.
- Consent and prep. You sign your consent form, the skin is cleansed and EMLA numbing cream is applied.
- Treatment. The polynucleotide is injected into the treatment area.
- Aftercare. You leave with aftercare advice and your next session booked.
Downtime and aftercare
Small bumps at the injection points usually settle within a few days, and some bruising is possible. Avoid applying any creams, lotions or makeup to the area for the first 24 hours.
Who is it not suitable for?
Polynucleotides are not suitable if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you are allergic to fish or eggshell.
Looking for help with thinning hair?
Polynucleotides are not a treatment for hair loss or thinning hair. For hair concerns, I offer Hair PRP (single session £100 or a course of 6 for £500), Hair PRP with Microneedling (£150), Hair PRP with Hair Filler (£150) and Hair Microneedling and Meso (£100). See all hair loss treatments on my prices page, or ask at your free consultation.
Polynucleotides vs Profhilo
Both improve skin quality, but they work differently. Profhilo is a hyaluronic acid skin booster focused on deep hydration. Polynucleotides focus on supporting skin repair, which makes them a popular choice for the delicate under eye area. Some clients benefit from both, and I will advise you at your consultation.
